The same care on a Noiz hosting service and on a site hosted elsewhere. Noiz keeps the WordPress installation current and stable underneath the site, so the people who build it can keep building it.

Included in WordPress Care

Weekly updates of WordPress core, themes and plugins, with a restore point taken first and a rollback if an update breaks something.
Major upgrades that could disrupt the site are agreed with you beforehand rather than run on the schedule.
Checks after each cycle: the site loads, the admin works, and the functions you rely on, such as a checkout, a booking form or a contact form, still do.
Security patching: the site is scanned for known plugin and theme vulnerabilities and patched as fixes are released.
Comment spam kept out: comments and pingbacks off by default, or on with moderation and working spam protection where you reply to visitors.
Hack fix and recovery: triage, a scan, malicious files removed, the site cleaned and restored from the most recent usable backup.
A restore point before every change Noiz makes, kept so it can be rolled back, and on Noiz hosting your plan's weekly backup as well.
Support on the site and its upkeep. We aim to reply in person by the next working day. Where a paid plugin or theme needs its vendor, Noiz contacts the vendor using the licence you hold.

Care is maintenance and recovery, not development. Building or changing things, installing and configuring new plugins or themes, and rebuilding a site that cannot be restored from a usable backup are quoted separately, by the hour or as a project. Cloudflare is a separate add-on.

Every Noiz shared plan runs WordPress. Premium adds a dedicated PHP pool, SSH, Git and WP Toolkit for staging and cloning, which is where care works fastest. Hosting and care are separate lines on your invoice, and either can exist without the other.

Noiz takes a restore point before every change it makes, so an update can be rolled back. On Noiz hosting your plan's weekly backup is there as well; for a site hosted elsewhere, the backups your host keeps remain your host's. Restoring from the most recent usable backup is part of care, and before anything newer than the backup is overwritten, the restore point is agreed with you.

Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 South African time, excluding public holidays. We aim to reply by the next working day, and urgent security issues go to the front of the queue. There is no fixed repair time.

Noiz checks access and suitability and sets the site up. Straightforward setup is included, and billing starts when care begins. If a site arrives already compromised, badly out of date or on unsupported components, that repair is quoted first.

No. Care is maintenance and recovery. Your developer or agency keeps the design, the pages and how the plugins are set up, and gets a dependable site to build on. Custom code, new features, page building, theme configuration, installing new plugins or themes, and rebuilding a site that cannot be restored from a usable backup are quoted separately, by the hour or as a project.

Care stops at the renewal date, and Noiz gives you a final export of the site's files and database, available for 21 days. Hosting with Noiz is a separate service and carries on unless you cancel it too. Our cancellation policy sets out how to cancel.
