Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy ("Policy") details the procedures for terminating hosting services with Noiz ("we," "us," or "our"). It supplements our Terms of Service and Billing and Payment Policy. We may amend this Policy periodically, with updates posted here. Your continued use of services after changes implies acceptance.

1. Cancellation Requests

  • You may cancel your hosting services at any time by submitting a written request via the client portal, email to info@noiz.co.za, or our designated support channels. Verbal requests will not be accepted.
  • Cancellations must include your account details, service identifiers, and a clear statement of intent to terminate.

2. Effective Date of Cancellation

  • If a cancellation request is received on or before the 25th day of the current month, the termination will be effective at the end of that same month, with no further billing for subsequent periods.
  • Requests received after the 25th day will be effective at the end of the following month (i.e., the next billing period). You remain responsible for all fees accruing until the effective termination date.
  • Example: A cancellation submitted on August 24 would end services on August 31. A submission on August 26 would end services on September 30.

3. Prorated Refunds and Obligations

  • Upon effective cancellation, any prepaid fees for unused periods may be refunded on a prorated basis, subject to our Refund Policy and deduction of administrative costs.
  • You must settle all outstanding invoices prior to or upon cancellation. Failure to do so may delay processing and result in continued billing.
  • Data backups are your responsibility; we recommend exporting content before termination, as access may be revoked post-cancellation.

4. Automatic Renewals and Recurring Services

  • Services on recurring billing (e.g., via Stripe) will auto-renew monthly unless cancelled in accordance with this Policy.
  • Cancellation does not affect obligations under separate agreements, such as domain registrations or add-on services.

5. Exceptions and Disputes

  • We reserve the right to terminate services immediately for violations of our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Service, without refund.
  • Disputes over cancellations should be directed to info@noiz.co.za within 7 days of request submission. We aim to resolve issues amicably.
