Most sites need nothing more than the email that comes with their hosting. Private Email is for an organisation whose mail has become too important, too large or too busy to share a server.

Every Legacy, Premium and Reseller plan includes email for your own domains, managed in the same control panel as your website. Mail shares the server with websites, so its limits are your plan's: each plan prints its mailbox allowance, and mailboxes share the plan's disk.

Yes. Every Legacy, Premium and Reseller plan includes email for your own domains, with webmail and IMAP, managed in the same control panel as your website. Each plan's mailbox allowance is printed on its card on the shared hosting page.

Mailboxes share your plan's disk with your website, so their size is bounded by the plan's disk. Disk used beyond the plan is billed as the Billing and Overage Charges policy sets out.

There is no separate email-only plan. A shared hosting plan carries mail for your domain whether or not a website is published on it, and Private Email is the option for mail on a server of its own.

When your mail has become too important, too large or too busy to share a server with websites and other customers: you want your own IP address for sending, mail that keeps running whatever happens to a website, and limits set for your organisation.

Yes, one deployment for each client. A Private Email server serves one organisation and its domains, so an agency orders a separate one for each named client.
