Noiz invoices are paid by card through Stripe, the international payment processor, or with the cryptocurrency Monero. When you pay by card, you stay in the console, our client area, while your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by Noiz. Once a card is saved, each invoice is charged automatically, so your hosting, domains and other services renew on time without you having to remember. This article explains how card payment works and what to do if a payment does not go through.
Paying by card through Stripe does three things for you:
The console uses Stripe's own secure fields to collect card details. You stay on our site, but the card number is sent directly to Stripe, which stores it in tokenised form: Noiz keeps only a reference that lets the card be charged, not the card itself. When your bank asks for extra confirmation, such as a one-time PIN or an approval in its app, the 3-D Secure prompt appears during payment.
Invoices are charged in rand, and the charge appears on your statement from NOIZ.
When you pay an invoice by card, the card is saved to your account. From then on, Noiz charges it automatically a day before each invoice falls due. You can add another card and make it the default at any time from the console.
Our knowledgebase covers each step:
If you would rather not pay by card, Noiz accepts Monero, a private cryptocurrency, on every invoice. Our guide to paying with Monero explains how.
If anything about a payment is unclear, open a ticket from the console and the people who run billing will answer.
