  • 0

This guide explains how to log in to the ISPConfig control panel using a web browser, a fundamental step for managing your hosting services with Noiz.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the internet and a web browser (e.g., Firefox, Chrome, Brave).
  • Your ISPConfig server hostname or IP address provided by Noiz.
  • Admin, reseller, or client credentials (username and password) issued by Noiz.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Obtain your login details

    • Contact Noiz support at info@noiz.co.za if you don’t have your username and password.
    • Note your server hostname (e.g., yourserver.example.com) or IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.100).
  2. Open your web browser

    • Launch a web browser on your computer or mobile device.
  3. Enter the ISPConfig URL

    • In the address bar, type https://:8080/ or https://:8080/ (replace or with your server details).
    • Press Enter to load the login page.
  4. Log in to ISPConfig

    • Enter your username (e.g., admin, reseller1, or your client username) in the username field.
    • Enter your password in the password field.
    • Click Login to access the control panel.

Troubleshooting tips

  • If the login page doesn’t load, verify the hostname or IP address with Noiz and ensure port 8080 is open.
  • For forgotten passwords, request a reset via the client area or contact info@noiz.co.za.
  • If you encounter a security warning, ensure you’re using https and accept the certificate if trusted.

Additional notes

ISPConfig supports multiple user levels—admin, resellers, and clients—each with different permissions. For details on user roles, see ISPConfig Users: Admin, Resellers, and Clients. For alternative login methods, check How to Log in to ISPConfig via Client Area.
