How to pay with Stripe Print

  • 0

This article explains how customers of Noiz can use Stripe as a payment method for their invoices. Due to ongoing issues with the PayFast gateway, Noiz has introduced Stripe as a reliable alternative for both recurring and one-time payments.

Background: Issue with PayFast

The PayFast gateway module has stopped functioning, and Noiz has been unable to resolve the issue with PayFast support. This means:

  • Automatic payments are failing: Payments are no longer being collected automatically through PayFast.
  • Manual payments are delayed: Payments made manually via the PayFast gateway are not reflecting on invoices, causing delays in payment allocation.

New payment option: Stripe

To ensure a smooth payment experience, Noiz has introduced Stripe as a new payment option. Stripe offers a very convenient "set and forget" solution that works especially well for automatic recurring payments.

How to use Stripe in the client area

  1. Log in to the client area: Customers can log in to their dashboard.

  2. Go to the Invoices section: Click on the “Unpaid Invoices” tab to view the current invoices.

  3. Select the Invoice: Click on the invoice to be paid, where various payment options will be displayed.

  4. Choose Stripe: Select Stripe as the payment method from the "Payment Method" options and click "Pay Now." This will take the customer to a secure payment screen where card details can be entered.

  5. Complete the Checkout Process: Follow the on-screen instructions to add the card details and finalize the payment.

Noiz advocates for Monero

While Stripe is a convenient option, Noiz continues to advocate for the use of Monero cryptocurrency. Customers who choose to pay using the ‘Cryptocurrency’ gateway option with Monero will receive a 10% discount on all services. The invoice will update automatically at checkout.
